Alaskan
Leader Seafoods:
Alaskan Leader
Fisheries is located in Lynden, Washington and Anchorage, Alaska.
Managing three fishing vessels, this fleet includes the the F/V Alaskan
Leader, F/V Bristol Leader and the F/V Bering Leader. Each of the
ALG members are a part of lifelong fishing families who started in the
70's and 80's as crewmen in the Alaskan fishing industry and have
independently worked their way up the ladder from deck, to wheelhouse,
to eventually owning their own vessels.
SOURCE Local
Foods is proud to offer select, sustainably harvested seafood from
leaders in the sustainable fishing industry. One such company, Alaskan
Leader Seafoods, is the most progressive, innovative and vertically
integrated "Hook & Line" fishing company in Alaska. Their
Pacific Cod product is a wild, sustainable, naturally caught cod from
the deep Pacific waters. After being long-line caught, this
product is processed and frozen at sea within minutes. Alaskan
Leader Seafoods Cod is available through SOURCE as whole fish, boneless
& skinless filets or as Pacific cod loin portions.
