"SOURCE Shout-Out?"
In an effort to keep our customers connected to a community of
high-quality foods straight from the SOURCE, we bring a feature product
to the table, to share with you each week. Whether this is a
product that you already carry or something new to consider, this
allows us to share the stories behind the sustainable products that we
all love and enjoy. We invite you to share this information among
your retail/restaurant teams and with your customers, so that together

Holiday Hams from Innovative Foods 
Innovative Foods Custom Processing is a family owned Colorado business in operation since 2005. Dave and Tami Ellicott have extensive knowledge and experience in fresh meat procurement. Initially operating out of a facility in Denver, from the beginning, Dave and Tami have focused their meat processing efforts on catering to food service and restaurants. In 2007, The Ellicott's purchased their own facility in Evans, Colorado, where their business still resides and is operated by Dave and Tami, their two Ellicott kin and many of their original employees.
Three goals that the Ellicott's have continued to uphold since the inception of their business are:
- to be the best in the business.
- to strive to put out a high quality product with excellent customer service.
- to uphold the value of family - from family farmers and ranchers who bring their livestock to be processed, to their customers, to their own family.
This holiday season the SOURCE Local Foods family is working together with Innovative Foods to process local pigs from Cone Ranch for wonderful holiday hams to be served on your dining tables. While most pork products are not aged and have a relatively quick cutting time, bacon and ham have a longer curing and smoking process. These delicious holiday hams are brown sugar and hickory smoked and are free of nitrites. Three different cuts available include boneless, bone-in, and bone-in spiral cut. Your SOURCE local area sales reps are available to take your orders now, for holiday ham deliveries starting the week of December 16th.
