Here at SOURCE Local Foods, you
find your connection to the freshest, locally grown and locally
processed food in Colorado. Our distribution of all-local produce has
garnered an amazing response from Colorado businesses that are looking
for quality food and convenient service. We're quickly expanding into
the distribution of locally raised and processed meats, cheese, dairy
products, and grocery products too! Along with our growing list of
Colorado SOURCES and amazing Chefs and restaurants, we're thrilled to be
paired with three independently operated grocers - Alfalfa's Market, Lucky's Market and Tony's Market!
It's
a privilege to work with three of the greatest locally owned and run
groceries in the area. Lucky's, Alfalfa's and Tony's are true staples of
what it means to shop locally in Boulder and Denver. Our partnership
with these markets is what SOURCE Local Foods is all about - keeping the
great food of Colorado local and in the community.
Alfalfa's Market

Alfalfa's Market was founded
as Pearl Street Market in Boulder, Colorado in 1979. It quickly grew to
be one of the nation's leading-edge natural products retailers
throughout the 1980s and 1990s, with an iconic reputation for being a
community-gathering place filled with an infectious passion for natural
and organic foods.
After
reopening in 2011 with a modern store environment, Alfalfa's has
preserved the same passion and adherence to strict product standards.
Alfalfa's was created on a founding principal to support local
businesses and farms... Even the stone used throughout the store's
remodel was sourced from local quarries!
"We're
thrilled to be working with SOURCE Local Foods during the holiday
season as they start to source more locally raised and processed meats," says Dale Kamibayashi, Alfalfa's Store Director, as he prepares for the autumn and winter months. "Their great service and quality products will be a big part of our holiday selections!"
As the holiday season arrives quicker than you think, know that Alfalfa's will be a great source of holiday meats!
